Seasonal Veggies

Are you looking for carrots and tomatoes and all your veggies to have great flavor?

Do you value knowing that your food is grown in a way that produces a healthy nutritious plant that is free of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or residues?

Wanna know where your food’s farm is and meet your farmer?

Consider a Veggie Share CSA from Black Mountain Farm.

Not familiar with a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Share?

Basically its an agreement between you (the community) and our farm. You provide the support (in form of payment) up front so that we can buy seed and supplies. In turn we grow a continual supply of produce during the season and you get a share of that produce.

This is our first full year and we will have 3 9-week sessions, Spring Session, Summer Session and Fall Session. If you are in all three sessions you will get a sample of what grows throughout the year!

This in not your grocery store box of veggies.

Each week you receive a share of the bounty we grow. It includes 6 to 9 items and 1 to 2 herbs (as available). We like variety and assume you do as well, so we are adding different families of veggies and fruits to every box. Most are old favorites but we hope that a few will be new or unusual varieties of the old favorites.

The members have access to a private facebook group that provides a platform for chatting between members, providing insights and recipes or showcasing your culinary creativity.
